So – I sat down this morning, thinking about blogging, because I haven’t in a while… and my mind drew a blank! Life lately has been beautifully rich in the Lord and relatively simple otherwise.
THEN.I.REALIZED.
My 6 month wedding anniversary is ONE WEEK from today! {Yes!!} I have some simple plans…BUT I would love to hear from you!'
What did you do for your 6 month anniversary (if you can remember)? OR What’s your favorite anniversary memory?

hey lady! since mine was just recently, i can totally remember. :) [can't wait for the day when it's been SO long it's a rough memory... *sigh*]
ReplyDeleteanyway, we got dressed up and went out to eat where we had our rehearsal dinner. we kind of made a weekend of it - the night before he came home from being out of town for a few days, and i totally surprised with "sanctuary" for him to unwind before going to bed here at home, just wanted him to rest. then the next day we skipped out on church, and journeyed to a city we visited in ohio the last day of our honeymoon on the way back from the pa airport about an hr from here and hung out there.
so sweet!! excited for you guys - congrats on the milestone of 6 months! :)
Heidi! SO much fun! I did a post for the first few months of marriage... then when it hit 1 year, I decided to not post each month :) Ha! We are coming up on 1.5 years though so that is exciting!! March 4th :-)
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice night at home and I think watched our wedding video. Such a good investment!! Happy almost 6 months! YAY!
Our 6 months was also our one year since being engaged. So every Nov 24 (we'll the last 3 we've been married) I've written him a little love note and tried to make him at least one special meal, depending on what our work day looks like. Our anniversary, May 24, has been always a little more special. Our first he told me not to make any plans and came home from work early and surprised me by pulling out the suitcase and taking me to Galveston! Last year I was dealing with sickness so we only went out to dinner and then enjoyed a late night watching a movie and talking about how much we love eachother (we took a look back over the past two years and how we have grown in Christ and our love for eachother) For our 3rd we'll be in MT doing DTS with YWAM, so I think our options might be limited to somthing like a coffee date, but I know we'll still spend time reflecting on how great God has been to us and how we've grown even more in love this past year. Happy 6 months, enjoy the time of relfection and romance! (sorry for leaving a coment longer than your blod) ;)
